I had just moved into a new home, school had just begun and I was drowning in an unusually large workload leaving me very little time to shoot but this new young mom was certainly persistent in having me photograph her first born. I always love the persistent ones. Reminds me of myself.

This young family showed up to the shoot in 2 cars, mom, dad, baby, baby nurse, mother-in-law and the family dog! It was quite the entourage

This shoot was such a breeze and so much fun! Baby Ava followed my lead and had this one in the bag for Mom and Dad. 3 outfit changes, 4 different set ups and not one peep out of her. I found myself having to stop short of saying “Ava Turetsky” when calling her name though…

I was very fortunate to be able to host Beth Jansen once again for another workshop right here in the M.I.A and this time with the added bonus of having Jael De Young here as well! I love playing hostess to a bunch of eager to learn, uber talented, fun and totally crazy photographers who are all just as passionate and crazy about this stuff as I am. It was an absolute blast!
